The morning view in Carrefour

After entering the gate of the library in the morning, I don't want to go out again at noon time for my lunch. And I want to have an easy and fast lunch so that I have more time in the library. So I go to Carrefour for my lunch right after parking the car.
In the morning time most customers in Carrefour are old people, they always get up earlier than the young and seek discounted goods in the market. At 7:30 every morning you can see a long line of old people waiting at the gate in the supermarket in Shanghai, and in most cases they are coming for the eggs which are alwasys in promotion in the morning time. I believe this is a skill to promote the goods since the people will also buy other things besides the eggs, but the people who bought the cheap eggs are very happy.
One more phenomena I often see in the supermarket is that the people take more plastic bags than they really need in the section of fruits and vegetables. To be honest I also did this to keep my clothes when season changing. But recently I found 4 holes punched by Carrefour, but there were no holes before. Why holes? It can help vegetables and fruits breathing and keep fresh and can it also help prevent the people taking more bags to keep clothes? I don't know but just feel interesting and blog here.
And my lunch: one piece of banana, an apple, bread and a box of milk, it is enough for a lunch and I don't have to pack my stuff and go out at noon.
By the way, some friends are caring about me on the job issue. It 's still floating in the air and I hope it will landing in the end of this month. thanks.

- you really have sharp eyes for details. as detailed-oriented as i am, i never found that Carrefour punched holes on the plastic bag---sounds a good idea to keep food fresh, but i doubt there would be any effect on bag waste

I'll pay more attention next...I hate holes...what if my little tiny vege falls out?
