Question 3, Is there any communication requirement for your current position? how do you think your communication skill?
As I have not prepare the question, so I spend several minutes to double confirm the quesiton with the interviewer, at the same time, I pick up my resume to check the description in it, then I know how I should answer the question
"As you know, my job title is the controller, so I'll try to introduce my main tasks briefly and let you know the communication requirement for these detailed jobs.
Firstly, I need to make the operational planning (or say the master budget), in this case, I need to discuss the detailed sales forecast with the sales managers, to review the capacity and utilization rates with the manufacturing managers, to double check all the cost planning with all the cost centers managers. We all know that the mangers hope to get more buffer while what I'm looking for is the accuracy and try to avoid the big variance, no matter it's negative or positive."
after drink some water and clear my mind, I say, "I raised some projects to support other team, and we can use the recent project as the example, I initiate the project to support the pricing, to this end, I need to discuss with the sales managers to know clearly what they really need." then I try to end the question, "So you can see, it's very important skill for the controller to communicate with others efficiently, and I think I have the good interpersonal skill"
