These days I am trying to translate an English article. Thanks to God! I have done most of the work now. Because my English is so-so, I have faced many difficulties. This article introduced a programming language with which I am not familiar. I think it is very useful for other people especially for people whose English is not good. So I study the new programming language, meanwhile I translate it in Chinese. First of all, there are many new words that I never meet, many of which are related with computer. I download an English dictionary software, and it help me very much, but there are still many sentence that I didn’t know the meaning exactly. If you let me translate it word by word. I know each word’s meaning. But as a sentence, I don’t know. What is more, when I was translating, the most important thing I worried about is that if I translated it wrong, it will confuse many people. That is why most people who learned computer knowledge prefer to read books in English instead of translated in Chinese. The last one is not a difficult but something I want to say .This English article remind me that our country’s software is not good, the article I translated is written by a Pakistan. I think our country is stronger than that country, and our people is not foolish than these people. Why we can’t write a valuable article. I think the most important reason is that they are good at English. As we all know, much high-tech knowledge are written by English including software knowledge. Because we have language barrier, so we are slower than them when we learn some new technique which most information are English. So we must learn English well and study many advanced knowledge form these foreign countries. And use these knowledge to build up our country. All people, let’s come on!
