I got a message form my university,it says that yesterday a local english training school will launch a recruitment fair.They are in need of english teachers and teaching supervisors,there will a lecture on how to find a good job at the same time.

I am willing to start my career by teaching english for children.So I went there on time. The meeting room is filled with a lot of students. And the company staff were giving lectures on how to improve yourself when you are looking for a job. And what are companies looking for from university graduates. Then I got a littile confused, they never mention they are going to interview us.

I　asked the girl stit next to me,” are you a graduate?” “No,I am a senior”,she replied.” “Is there going to be a job interview? “well, I don’t think so,it’s a lecture.” she told me with full confidence.

Oh, My gosh ! I don’t want to waste my time on some lecutures cause I came for the interview.I want to get out of it immediately.But I sit beside the back door, It would be impolite to leave infront of so many people when the lecture just started few minitues ago, Then I saw our consellor walked in, so I turned to her.”Ms.li,is there going to be a recruitment?” She quickly replied”yeah, of course.”

OH,well,so I’ll wait.Ms.li stand behind me so I heard it all. She told the manager from that training school that 70% graduates are working outside our city,only the rest of  them are staying at university and looking for a job,and all the graduates came here today are eager to work for your company.it’d be best if you could give the students here a interview.

Though them confirmed they will add the interview section to their agenda, but I can sense their unwillingness,they sound pretty much reluctand.I felt disoppionted.

Frankly speaking, I can tell they are not going to hire anyone of us that aftenoon.But I already pay attention to their speeches  like 2 hours ago,So I think I can give it a try.

So I loosen a bit.I just answer the questions honesty. I　show then the energetic side of me.and they felt the influnences .They think I got the potential to be a teacher especiall for children ，I wasn’t nverous at all,because from the very first second I got up front I already acknowledge the fact that they are not going to give any job offer, so I am relaxed,they think I was being real,when the asked me what's your characteristics weakness, I told them sometimes I get emotional.They wondered “ what is it like when you got emotional.I simply told them:oh, you guys ,You don’t  want to see me like that”.the interviwer all laoughed.This is difinitly not the right answer they are looking for, But then found my answer’s funny and different.

At the end of the intervew,they gave me some sincere advises,which I believe it’s very valuble.They told  me things I can work on from their own expreience.They like my performance,but they were not sure whether the company is considering adding new hands.But they told me on whhich aspects I met their requirements and what are the other things i can work on. Their feedback is really helpful for us graduates, and I admit  I had a great time there.

So, from my personal expreience, It’s no need to be nervous,The interviwer are like us,Just show them who you are , no need to be panic,and once they give us their advice, we’d better keep in mind. Cause they are professionals, what they suggest us it’ll be of great value to improve our interview performance or let’s say will help us to build our career in the long run.

Tough I am looking forward to get the job or at leaste make it to the next round of intervew. But if that company are not going to hire us soon. I’d understand, cause I had some fun during the interview.What’s more, I gained some useful experiences  about how to perform better in interview and unterstand my strengths and weakness.  I spent  more than 2 hours in the lecture  and then the interview, but I think it’s difinetly worth it. Just consider it as a procces of accumulate experiences.
