God luck

Our national college entrance exam was ended last month. My cousin was one of the student striving for his dreams like every high school teenager.

We’ve been told that the exam is the fairest way of choosing elites in our country. Because no matter where you come from, concerning going to college only grades matters. Whether you could get in to a famous university or not depends very much on your grades.

But all these standards varys in different places: statiscs shows that beijing university and orther top universities locaded in beijing lower their grades for student from beijing, same things happend in shanghai. That means students only with higher grades  form other region can get accepted by top university in beijing or shanghai,  but local teenagers can enjoy favorable terms if they apply their local universities.

My cousin’s a really hard working student, but this year is the second time he took the exam, it seems that he can get in to a ordinary university according to his grades last year. But he failed because other student gets higher grades, so he missed it. Since he decided to give the test another try,he’s been study much harder this year, so did everybody who wants to improve their grades.

I think Chinese student study really hard, study occupies too much time for them, they don't have time to relax, and those prepared for it,although didn't get their expected resultd are good too.if your grades enables you to pick a better university then try to study hard than your classmatesin a mediocre one. Because ,univesity isn’t very much like a highschol. There are lots of time for us to learn. To be self-taught is quiet crucial in campus life if you want to really learn and improve yourself.

So，all my wishes to those students took the exam and my cousin too.don’t worry about it too much okay. You did your best, anyways, you survived highschool that is not a easy tast. No matter which range of university you get in, it’s always to your advantage, leaning is life long proccess. College life is only the beginning, wish you luck !
