Can't get the meaning? Haha...In brief from the begining. Today, I have a delightful chatting with a foreign friend. "I have a bad habit."  "what's that?" "I like playing gambling machine", then my friend replied "pocket is your friend, if there's no money in your pocket, no one would like to accompany with you, no one would like to make friend with you, no one would like to talk to you. if there's no money in your pocket, they will look down upon on you". I am a poor guy and I must admit his words make me much more carefully when plan using money. You know, how hard I overcome the complicated thoughts struggled in my head. As for me, don't gamble, make as much more money as I can. To some extent, pocket is your friend.
