How time flies, when I look back what I have gained, it is still a year as past that I didn't get a huge leap, I didn't get the useful skills, I didn't improve myself from every aspect, it is just I didn't make myself stronger.
I am still the same as before, yet the world is developing so fast. When I learned how to use the basic html, the html5 is coming. When know how to start a website, I didn't realize there is a lot need to master. When I spend time in studying, I always get lost in it. As for me, it just seems I am studying all the time, while when I finished it, it was not as popular as before, it become old fashion. Sigh, not all the effort but much of it lost in vain.

- Seems you are having unrealistic expectations. There is never any guarantee that the thing you learn can be put to profitable use. It is just a skill where you can apply at the right time, right place.
I myself, create webpages frequently and I have reasonable HTML knowledge. I find it exciting that I can create informative websites instantly which can be seen and used all over the world. Isn't that satisfying?
Take some time to review your overall needs and achievements. Commend yourself for whatever knowledge you have gained so far, and think carefully your future needs and plans. Get it going when you are confident.

and after many years of having our door opened, we still passively follow other people's steps in computing ...why ? The only answer to it can only be our lack of creativity ?

We do not lack of creativity, the question you asked, it can be explained as competition, I think. Just think about the tools we use, it is already well designed by others, what they left for their own benifit only they knows, especially in such a digital world.
