Who will pave the road for you? I don't think the material is more important than essence. In some sense people will act better than those who relying on material ones.

Whatever our parents provide us, how they wish us to be, what they had done for us, you should know excellence in many aspect is possible only in diligence, if we do not treat it seriously, wasting time in amusement, we still reward for nothing. 

Every day we see or listen, our feel or expression, anything we do to the outside world the same time it feeds back to us. Helping others doomed to be gained back in some way, while hurting will cause an innocent soul changing to evil, a little exaggerate.
