I don't know if you have such situation as I do. I am always an impulsive guy.

Some times I know games like poker isn't a good thing, but I play it and often lose my mind. Take an example, it is obvious a losing cards in my hand, but I fancy good things coming in the end, hoping something amazing happened, while the result let me pay an expensive price. what a stupid thing. 

Not only poker, and I always buy a book by judging its cover, after I read it I found it is not the book I want. 

Learn to be rational, learn to love yourself. From now on, get rid of your lazy habit, don't expect the good result without first spending time on it. Trust yourself, confidence comes from the practice year by year, there is nothing to fear, everything will get better, I am with you.
