STill in lingering

In last post, three subjects were mentioned, English, programing and investing. Now, I will take a full analysis on them in order to help myself out.
1. English
English is my interest, I would like to use my spare time to enjoy them, such as Tumblr, news, radio talks etc. However, I am not an English major graduate, my English level is just so so, even I didn't pass some English test. But I do like English, I would like to spend my time on it. If English can find good jobs, it will be fine, but seems English jobs are interpretation and writer. If I go this way, I must level up my English and get the field certification. I would like to enhance myself but I don't like the interpretation jobs.
2. Programing
My major is computer science and technology, so programing should be the field I devoted to, but the sad thing is I didn't learn it well, but I am still learning. Another reason I didn't work on it before, I have no experiences, and I am 30 years old now, don't know if it is worth to go big cities to find jobs, becuase the salary in this field is well paid, that's really what I want.
3. Investing
I use my spare time to get to know a little knowledge about economics, and I have found some resources which would help me to start my own bussiness, and I know it is really bold, but I do not like work for others, I want to work for myself. This seems my final goal, and the seed is already planted in my brain.
Now you can see, all three aspect above has its own advantage and disadvantage, choice not made yet. Do you guys have similar hard decision in life ? Any other advice you can give to help me out of this situation?
Thank you.

i think you had better improve your english, especially oral english which can brighten yourself among candidate at interview, forget the certification which is not useful when you talk face to face. As you mention, you have plan to start up business, have you considered through all aspect of finance, marketing, member, managerment and other authority procedure.
Programming, which you may think a good job and easily got. But i want to tell you the golden time is over you have to enhance your major and practise more to get the possiblity of grasping the good job.
Investing, i think you may accumulate your knowledge and try constantly to have own opinion in such field and bless you good. So it is not the time to decide which you choose, you have to improve comprehensively to form yourself which you may find your opportunity.

Now, here you have so clearly stated your situation and I do agree that you are at difficult crossroads and it is hard to decide which road to take. Your knowledge is useful but the problem is that it is not properly certificated, so your qualifications could not be recognized. So, the best you can do is to make try to find a position which can utilize your knowledge, but that won't be easy.

ENGLISH: Your written English is surprisingly good despite that being not your major. This is probably the strongest qualification you have. There are lots of employers seeking people who can write reasonably well. You should try to find an employer who can use your skills. English knowledge does not need to be certificated because it is easy to judge your writing ability. There are quite of lot of commercial companies which are suitable for you. Try harder to focus on this area.

PROGRAMMING: Indeed the golden times of IT and programming are over. I have also learned programming but it is not much use for a career, but I did use that programming knowledge in my own business and created powerful applications which helped my business grow rapidly. You don't have sufficient verified skills in programming, but employers would consider your English and programming together.

INVESTING: This may not be suitable for you because you would need strong hands on experience and proper background economics education. If you wish to start a business in this field, you would need a lot of funds, which I doubt if you have. This is also a strictly regulated field so it would be difficult for you.

Finally, try to used your English writing ability and focus on it. Once you find a suitable job which can use your English writing skills, you would be very productive in work. It would be better if you could strengthen your spoken English which would be a big plus for you. Make the best of what you have learned and wish you the best, my friend.
