  I feel extremly guilty today as I've done something wrong these two days.I don't know what happened with my brain,just found it was like the electric light bulb which has been burnt out for years.I really have no ideas about my own thoughts. Why should I have done such stupid things ?It's not like me .I cannot figure myself out.
  I need time to think about myself.
  I need to do deep self-examination.

I have gone through a similar experience and have managed to overcome it. You can too. We all do something wrong in our lifetime and we ourselves have to repair it.

Regret can weigh down your heart like a big rock. If you are constantly reflecting on something or someone from your past, you will miss out on the only thing that is real - the present. Regret is when you recollect a past event with a feeling of loss and sorrow. Would it be logical to carry an umbrella around even after the storm is over? Of course not, and it is unhealthy to still be feeling pain after the wound of regret has healed. Move on, live your life, learn from your past and use it to build a more solid foundation for your future.

Do not dwell on your regrets, they have come and gone and have left hard-earned lessons. "Experience is a difficult teacher, one who often gives the test before the lesson." We all make mistakes or do things that we look back on with disappointment, but a healthy individual will not become plagues by these unfortunate memories. If you want to overcome regret, you need to focus on the future instead of things you "would, could, and should" have done.

Instead of viewing those hard times as regrettable moments in your life, look at them as a teaching experiences. We are all like pencils, and on occasion we will go through a painful sharpening that only makes us better.

There is an old saying that goes, "Idle time is the Devil's playground," and it applies directly to how well you will be able to manage your regret. Stay active, stay busy. Lead a full and meaningful life and keep the people who bring you joy the closest. Life is short, people are callous and the good times rarely last long enough. Wake up every day with optimism and good things will gravitate your way.

If you are looking back on your regrets constantly, you may fall into a dreary state of mind. Make the most of your time to keep your mind from wandering down dark allies. If you keep your sights set on your life at present and the exciting future ahead, you will be able to overcome regrets and live a full and happy life. All it takes is some perseverance and a positive outlook.
