In most chinese's opinions, western fast food is more convenient, cleaner and trustworthier compared with domestic food. But thers is a piece of weibo publishing a picture that some piled burger buns are exposed sunshine outside Mcdonald's restaurant without any protection, which challenges public's confidence in foreign fast food. Just a few day's later, soybean milk in KFC is found to be made from powder instead of freshly ground.
i can't help asking the the same question facing chinese: can we find safe, natural food without any chemical additives ?
the public have aleady experienced a lot from toxic infant-milk powder to hot-pot by repeatly-used oil, we are too fragil and tired to hear other scandals.
Food safety is the biggest concern for chinese besides medical bill and children education. Can those food industries and restaurants stop using poor-quality products and provides us consumer a safe table.
