Do I make the right choice

I write the paper ,make the promise,call my parents.May be months later,I will be married.But still,I really do not appreciated the way that her parents bid me to do.
Is it a new beginning or the first page of a terrible story,time maybe prove it.
I admire a special life ,free,with a lot of money and friend,be confident.

- How can it be ? Since you are not sure and unwilling ,why do you agree ? I can't understand . Why cant' you yourself decide your own life ? You are very uncommon .

- Some parents talk as if they are selling their daughter, not marrying. You do not have to feel inadequate. You have a great future ahead of you two. Who knows how much money you will have in the years to come. It is not a crime to have a normal humble life. The girls parents have no right to intervene just because of your financial status. Have confidence. The future is yours and hers, not belongs to her parents. Good luck.
