Reporting Skill is a very important talent in my profession, it direct related to your customer, your boss and even your team members to your satisfaction. No matter how hard you work, you can’t get promotion if you have bad reporting skill. Some guys had promotion rapidly, just because they are good at the talent.

            I always prepare the report to customer and management team, over 4 years experience tell me, clarity of thought is the key parameter to the good reporting, we always can follow a fixed pattern, firstly ,describe the problem and issue background; secondly, give investigate steps and results, make conclusion; thirdly, base on the analysis result ,writing all action items ,include the actions what have been done and what will done, every action item should remark relate owner, due day and current status; some time ,we even can raise our concern and hope we needed.

            Of course, there are so many reports and every report has its specific format. however, we should aware of the importance of reporting skill, we not only need hard work ,but also need express ourselves to others. I think, it’s also a key parameter to success.
