Reading and thinking

Reading and thinking both are very important methods of study, But which is priority is a tough question to answer. I think many people will say they are the same priority. Because if you want to study you must read the books or search information in internet and there are many libraries also proving reading very important, But I think thinking has the first priority, these days I have been reading critical thinking books, and I have some thoughts about thinking. I think thinking is more important than reading, Please let me narrate the reasons.
1. I have some experiences, if you don't want to do something, this thing must hard to do. For example, If you can watch TV you will never want to read book, if you can read book, you will never want to write something. Because writing needs thinking, we can say thinking is more difficult than reading. Due to its difficulty, thinking can practise your mind more efficient than reading.
2. There are many books in the world, and you will be confused by these rich books. You will fall into reading and lose yourself. You will always say what newspaper said, do as others told you. In 21 century you will have critical thinking because there are so many traps in your growth, and thinking about yourself three times a day, you will have no fault in chinese adage. So thinking is more important than reading.
3. I have seen many people who has low diploma and has very successful career or business. I find them very smart and good at analysis. But I never saw a person with much acknowledge, but not being skillful in thinking do well in working, and we called them pedants.
So we should sharp our thinking, because thinking can solve something which you never met before. Thinking can help us to see the world clearly, if you thinking things which you met for a hour per day, you will correctly go to your goal.

- about priority? i think the answer is clear.
without thinking, no words, no characters ,no words,not mention to languages or books.
but the importance of reading should not be ingored,one person disliking reading may be successful in nowaday society.in contrast,once a nation degrades the reading, the price will doom to be catastrophic.
