Having Dinner with a chief staff officer
I called a fellow this afternoon and told him i was in Beijing for a business trip. He invited me to a dinner. Actually, i wanted to treat him and his family. He said that he should treat me to dinner because i was in Beijing. Obedien is better than politeness.
Taking the subway and taxi, i got the rendezvous finally. That's a marine guest house. It looked very luxurious. Waiting a moment in the Hotel lobby, my fellow appeared. We greeted to each other. A waitress led us to a dining room. She warmly called my fellow "Chief staff officer". At this moment, I just realized my fellow has not been the old one. I had a happy dinner with him and his family. Howerver, i realized that we're not of the same kind. In other words, i need to make a great effort to catch up with him. Because we are the same age!
