I, Robot
If I was a robot, I can study better than I am now. Unfortunatly, I am not. Why? Because robot doesn't have emotion or feeling while human being has. In this case, when a guy need to do something that he doesn't like, the efficiency would be low. That is also true for huge companies even countries.
Generally speaking, if a person or a company or a country wants to achieve something. He need to work as a robot. Follow its directives or rules , do its work, and insist on it for a long time.
Why Qing can defeat other six countries , unify and centralize China the first time in history. Because it has strict laws and military disiplines. If a contry want to be strong , it must establish some rules for itself and follow the rules. That's the only way out. And so is true for companies and human beings.
For example, if a undergraduate want to pass the entrance examination to become a postgraduate. He/she must gets up at a fixed time everyday, study a certain amount of knowlage, insist on doing that for nealy a year and maybe, just maybe, in this way he can succeed. But for genious or people who really like his career, that is not neccessary. He can follow his own rules which is accord with his own biological clock or feelings.
It is said that Bill Gates, when he was in college, never sleep according to time. He sleep when he felt sleepy and work when he feels energetic. He can foucus on what he likes for three days without sleeping for a while and doesn't even feel tired at all. These people are lucy dogs.
