Everyone may have experienced some stupid period of life, which is wretched or cannot bear calling to mind.

It often happens, every time, everywhere and you even don’t aware about it. 

In “The pursuit of happiness”, the father let the “BMD tester” which was part of his possession under the care of a vagrant, and both of them barely disappeared, so he called himself being stupid.

In “dwelling narrowness”(蜗居), the heroine betrayed her boyfriend and had affair with a married man, which almost all the audiences cursed her for the stupid conduct.

Some stupid things are not so serious, and they can be a lesson for your future life, say, those who fell in love with each other and had a flash marriage but unfortunately, they found the other part not soul matched. This is correctable, though irresponsible. While others are unforgivable, it should be a brand of your character or personality. Say, someone who committed a crime on purpose.
