Men and women do not view the time the same way.

434 views. 2011-11-15 22:50 |

There are two kinds of person in this world and I am one of them.I am the kind of person who likes to be on time for things. In fact,I like to be early.Let's say,I need to catch a bus which is leaving at 8 a.m.Usually,i am at the station, ready to go no later than 7:45 a.m.On the contrast, one of my friends is another kind of person. For her,the idea time to catch the bus would be arrive the station as the bus ready to leave.
Part of this is a cultural difference because we grew up in different place, and accepted the diffenrent custom which be handed down. But the difference between she and me is not totally cultural. In my opion,it is also gender-related.I believe that men and women do not view the time the same way.As far as I know, women think there is more time in the universe than men do.

A few minutes early and a few minutes later is not a big thing, but some people who are late for 20 minutes or more need to examine themselves.

it's nothing to do with gender I believe, different individual  has different time awareness

I would not base that on gender!  I'm a man and I prefer to arrive at the bus stop as the bus pulls up to where I stand!

English: use a space after a period or comma.  Otherwiseyourwritinglookstoocrowded.  我建议:". . . 7:45 a.m.  In contrast, one of . . .the ideal time . . . different places, and . . . different (not diffenrent) customs which were handed down to us.  But . . . between her and me is . . . opinion, it is . . . .

When I was in college, I used to do what I called "the jump and run."  If I had a class that started at 8 a.m., I would try to wake up as late as possible.  I could wake up at 7:40, get dressed, run to the cafeteria, eat breakfast, run about 1/2 mile (1 km) across campus, and walk in the classroom at 8 a.m.  If it was 7:58, I considered it too early!  If it was 8:01, I was late, and I didn't like being late!  But, that's me!  Obviously, you and I are a little different.  pH

i don't think it is gender that makes us do things punctually or not. it largely depends on how you were brought up. that is the environment where you live, more exactly the influences you got from the poeple around you.

For me, it depends on different characters not just from one single aspect of gender difference
