Beijing’s been really cold these days. It makes me reluctant to go out, and it’s hardly enjoyable right at this moment.

Beijing’s also been a bit strange lately. It looks a bit different now here and there.

Beijing’s still the city I spend most of the time in. It’s the place I was born and grew up.

If some day you come here, please let me say “ Welcome to Beijing!”

1The commonest alcohol is called “ er guo tou” or “ er dei zi” which’s very popular for locals.

2We always go to the “zoo market, Xi dan shopping zone” to sniff for clothes. If you have enough time, you can also go to “Dong dan” or “zhang zi zhong Road” to talk a walk there and maybe you’ll find something fancy.

3 In winter, I like to have some chestnuts for snacks. There’s one I really want to recommend. It’s called “ qiu li xiang- tasty autumn chestnut” which you can find around Di An Men Road.

4 The tea market is very handy for people who are hunting for nice tea. It’s not far from the west train station, and you can take a taxi or a bus then get off at Wanzi station.

5 You can’t miss “Hou hai” and “Nan luo gu xiang” if you visit. That’s considered the best shot of inner city which maintains the city’s old style. Go to Lama temple as well if you are close to this area, for you can simply walk.

6 Beijingers love to talk. They talk to almost everyone, no matter if they know you or not. But since the weather keeps people inside, normally they choose to have Beijing traditional lamb hotpot with family.

7 The subway lines are quite convenient now. You can go wherever you want basically by tube--- The Tian an men Square, Wang Fu Jing street, The temple of heaven, Zhong Guan Cun zone, or even the Great Wall.

8 I’m here to tell two clubs for people who are music addicted. They are the Mao Live House and Yu Gong Yi Shan club. More information can be told if you ask :)

9 Go to Happy Valley if you look for something amusing, because it’s the hottest amusement park now around the corner of south 4^th ring road.

10 The 798 art factory is a nice place for modern art, and you may see something different.
