Ways to make us happy

     Although I'm fully agree for indulging ourselves in some certain activities to boost our mood such as shopping, but retail therapy is definitely a cost way to do it. And it might make us feel worse in the long run if our shopping expedition beyond our budget . Here are some wallet-friendly ways to get rid of a bad day:

 

1.Planning a trip.

    Make a plan to take some days off and start to prepare destination . Search informations,such as culture, food,etc. Research has shown that planning and anticipating a trip has an even greater effect on happiness than the actual trip itself.

 

2.Make ourselves a happy meal.

    A happy meal is basically comfort food we can make at home that will help us feel better. Perhaps it's a childhood favorite, like noodles and porridge or maybe a secret family recipe.

 

3.Set a goal and accomplish it. 

    Set a small and reasonable goal and complete it before the end of the night. It can be simple tasks like washing the dishes or finishing a chapter of a book. We'll feel better when we're getting things done.

 

4.Do something nice for someone. 

    Doing a nice act for someone can make us feel better, studies have shown. They can be small acts like sending an email to our best friend telling him or her how much we appreciate him or her, or making dinner for our partner.

 

5.Remember the good. 

    Write out a gratitude list of things that we're grateful for. Noting down a list of things that we are grateful for can refresh our appreciation in 

things that we've been taking for granted. Writing a gratitude list will cause us to put more focus on the positive and less on the negative.

 

6.Remind ourselves that present state is temporary. 

    I really enjoy this motto: "This too shall pass" because it reminds us that everything - including positive and negative events - is temporary. In a few days, weeks, or years, we will probably get over it. All that matters is knowing that there is a day we will move on and not to waste so much time and energy in thinking about an event that's temporary.

 

7.Sleep early. 

    Sometimes all we can do after a stressful event is to leave it alone and go to bed at once. Sleeping early tonight so that we'll wake up well rested and ready to tackle the next day with gusto. Not getting enough sleep can cause us to be more cranky and sensitive, so we should definitely get a full night's rest after a bad day.

 

8.SOS a friend.

    Tell our best friend we need an emergency hangout to get our mind off of things. Having someone else around can get us out of the negative moods. It's always nice to have an understanding ear and someone to distract our attentions.

 

9.Animal therapy. 

    Many studies have shown that owning a pet is related to lower rates of depression and blood pressure. If we don't have a pet, perhaps play with a neighbor's furry friend or visit a park to see others playing with them.

 

10.Meditate. 

    Close our eyes, take a few deep breaths in a regular pace, and mentally release all that is bothering us. Meditation will give our brain a break from the stress and it will maybe even help us putting things into a new perspective and help us realizing that our situation isn't so terrible after all.

 

11.Exercise. 

    As we all know, exercise produces endorphins, this certain chemicals can make us feel good. Go to the gym and play our favorite songs and get a good workout. We'll feel better at once.

 

12.Watch a comedy. 

    Laughter is the best medicine and watching a funny movie, TV show, or books witting in a funny way can distract us from the negative events in our life.

    

    Of course, there are many goods ways to achieve that goal. No matter what ways they maybe, only if they works, they will be good methods. And I do hope that our friends here will shed each day happily.

Yes, we need enough sleeping time. if we can't have enough sleep we would become sensitive and the mood would be bad all day.

Wow... you can become a psychologist or depression therapist. I am sure a lot of people wondered how to make oneself happy and you have written them all out for us in one shot. So nice of you. I was trying to find one type which don't work, but there is none. I am not fond of pets, but when I watch others having pets, I understand how satisfying that can be.

Most people only remember the hard times and don't think about the good times they had. Sometimes it is hard to jump our of troubles, but good or bad, we still have to live, so why not live happier?

I have copied this down and whenever I feel down, I would take this out and make a pick. Thanks buddy.

Yeah, indeed. Regular daily life means we do certain thing at a certain time. Keep healthy, keep happy.

Honestly speaking, I have been always thinking to write an article like this. Till yesterday, when I heard someone talked that she felt very gloomy, and didn't know how make herself happy.
I have endured so much that I know how to cope every incident abstractly. We all known that knowing is one thing, but doing is another kind of thing. So if we really like keep happy, we can do find ways.

Love your positive attitude towards happiness

That’s exactly what I wanna say, I had written 50 days for discovering happiness before.

It’s amazing, I found so much happy things which I have never realized. Even doing housework make me happy, as it keep my room clean, the beautiful flowers every day I passed by, a phone call from a friend, finding a useful website, but most time I just ignored those happy things, I was stucked by negative thoughts, which made me felt sad.

Now I am becoming a happier me as I focus on happy thing, think positive, read positive articles and books, stay with nice friends.

To a certain level, happiness is not related to how much money you earned, it is more connected with your thinking.

I do think that happiness is a state of our mind, it can be easily affected by  too many things. So we can adjust it, for we cannot sure that we can keep happy everyday.
    Anyway, just as you said, think positive, read positive articles and books, stay with nice friends,  moreover, keep a happy mind.
