How to cope with stress

Hot 3756 views. 2016-6-16 18:12 |Individual Classification:Mood

Stress is a normal part of our daily life.We can not eliminate them at all, but we can find ways to prevent or at least to release them. Here are some ways we can deal with everyday sources of stress.

1.Eliminate as many sources of stress as we can.

If crowds bother us, just go to supermarket when we know the lines won’t be too long;Try renting videotapes rather than going to crowded movie theaters; If we are always running late, get a pencil and paper and see how we are actually spending our time;We may be able to solve our problems (and de-stress our lives a bit) just by being realistic. If we can’t find the time for all the activities that are important to us, maybe we are trying to do too much. Again, make a list of what we do during the day and how much each activity takes. Then cut back.

2.Avoid predictably stressful situations.

If a certain sport or game makes us tense (whether it’s football or tennis), decline the invitation to play. After all, the point of these activities is to have a good time. If we know we won’t, there’s no reason to play.If we can’t remove the stress, remove ourselves. Slip away once in a while for some private time. These quiet moments may give us a fresh perspective on our problems.Competing with others, whether in accomplishments, appearance, or possessions, is an avoidable source of stress. We might know people who do all they can to provoke envy in others. While it may seem easy to say we should be satisfied with what we have, it’s the truth. Stress from this kind of jealousy is self’inflicted.

Labor-saving devices, such as cell phones or internet, often encourage us to cram too many activities into each day. Before we buy new equipment, be sure that it will really improve our lives. Be aware that taking care of equipment and getting it repaired can be stressful.

3.Try doing only one thing at a time.

For example, when we’re riding our exercise bikes, we don’t have to listen to the  radio or watch

television.Sometimes it’s okay to do nothing. If we feel stress(or anything else) is getting the better of us, we can ask our friends or parents for help.If cannot solve the problem, we had better seekprofessional help—a doctor or psychologist.

Early signs of excess stress are loss of a sense of well-being and reluctance to get up in the morning to face another day, once we had such kind of feeling, we might as well to reduce them at once before it is too late. And hope all friends here will be safe and sound , as well as happy, all the time.

This is good advice, especially No.2. A lot stress can be traced back to our own decisions. Our homes and workplaces are full of electronic gadgets and equipment. Those things appear helpful to us on the surface but actually, it is requires a lot of time to maintain. On the other hand, we cannot completely eliminate all those devices, otherwise we would be out of touch.

Any productive person will have stress. Our stress starts from childhood when our parents force us to enter the best kindergarten and best schools. Then we have to study hard and enter the best universities After graduation, we are required to have the best jobs with high pay. Then our children repeats the whole cycle all over again.

To avoid stress, we have to look at our overall situation. Is it really necessary to be the best all the time? The higher your position, the more responsibility you have. The more money you have the more worries you got. The more intelligent you are, the more is expected from you. Why push yourself to such extremes. Where does this all end? Simplicity is the answer.

I used to be late for work as I was nervous about without checking whether I have turned off the gas, iron, or left the lunch box at home , which stressed me out, then I had return back to my room for double check. Now I make a checking list before leaving. which helps me heaps, I am always be work on time.

No, no comparison, you will never be satisfied for compare with someone what you don’t have by forgetting what you already had.
