When we was young, we usually feel very happy, or at least will find many interesting things to do, but as the time goes by, I often hear people around complained that there are too many things to deal with, such as kids education, monthly
consumption, events related to work and social communication, life seems too dull, and yet there will be too many unknown problems to be solved. Before, I felt the same way, but now I feel each day very meaningful and happy, and seldom puzzled by problems. I will share some experiences with friends here:
1. Pay attention to breath
When we were at school, we were easily to concentrate our minds on what we do. But when we work, we are easily to loose our mind on others things, then we may begin to think many trifles in our daily life, set ourselves into trouble water. So the first thing we want to be happy, learn concentrate again, for when we contrite our mind on something, we may get a feeling of success, then we may feel happy easily, though, often, things we do are unimportant. We can practice concentrate our mind on breathing without interrupt by any other things. When we can concentrate our mind on what we do , we are not far away from happy.
2. Be grateful
Grateful is an attitude, is a short way to get happy. At first it is hard to achieve, for people usually think that we are not lucky, there are not so many things to be thankful. In order to cultivate a thankful heart, we can try to write down five things worth us thanking on a paper, such as :”Thank god that I spend a day safe and sound; Though the money which I earned is not many, it can support me and my family, etc.” Then try to add five more on the list, or ten more, till we cultivate a grateful heart to a habit.
3. Be helpful to others
Happiness is a kind of feeling, it raise up from our bottom of heart. Too often , it is not measured by how many materials we earned, or how poor we are. It is measured by how we think and do. The easiest way to do is to help others. When we help others, we feel we are important. There are many ways to help others, such as, donate some money or some clothes to some people in need, offer our seats to the elder, kids. We should not grudge our help, and offer our help in our power, then when we help others, we may harvest happiness.
4. Be a learning man
Knowledge can help us solve problems, and the less problems we get, we may feel more happy. We can learn from books, our daily life, or others on conditions that we are willing to learn.
There are many ways can help us get happy, I just share some ways that ever helped me, and I will very glad if friends here can share some others ways with me. And at last, I hope that everyone will be happy forever.
