“I Enjoy My Happiness' Being Perceived and envied byYou!”

875 views. 2011-12-15 20:27 |

"I enjoy my happieness' being perceived and envied by you!"---This is what  one of my colleagues Mary impressed me, thought she has never said words like that directly.
The office is a little quiet or even boring without Mary.  With her being there, the atmosphere seems much more  lively , but on the other hand we will feel some uncomfortable at the same time.  Her topic is almost the same ---her hapiness. She is a woman over forty years. Her husband X  is a public servant. Her son M  is 19, and has gone to college in 2010. She lives a happy life, and she tries to broadcasts it to more audience as she could. I don't know what her life really is. I just learned she is happy from what she told us in the office. Her hapiness is always on her face. "X has been promted as a vice -director in his unit!" "M got  excellent marks in the examination this time. His teacher in charge praised him at the parents meeting specially!" "My house in the other city has been decorated. It cost us more than eighty thousand yuan!" "My car has cost us one hundred and thirty yuan thousand!"  "I can drive my car by myself!" "…… ”Such  good news of hers was heard from her now and then. "Oh? How nice ! " "It's great !" "Hehe!" Those are our usual replies.

Being envious surely is a poisonous character. But showing off is not a virtue, either.
My advice to her is to take more interest in other people, in their sorrow and happiness, and other people would be more willing to share her happiness in return.
