LOVE IS LOVE?
I have a friend who is a policeman from whom I can hear interesting stories now and then. The fowllowing is one of them he told me a month ago. It impressed me a lot, so I would like to record it down and share with my readers.
Xiaosen is a young man. He is in his twenties. But unforturnatly, he is in the prison now. To some degree, that might be to blame to his girl friend.
Since his poor perfomance in high school Xiaosen could not entile him into a college. Jobs are difficult to seek. At last, he succeeded in enlisting in the army. Two years passed quickly, he left the army and got a job smoothly. It was at that time he met a girl and his good luck came with misfortune followed.
The girl is charming and beautiful, and Xiaosen is handsome and polite and popular indeed. No matter what it was , they fell in love with each other at their first sight. Their love increased as time went on while one day he found his beloved girl friend taking drugs. What should he do? To leave her or to stay with her? He hated drugs-taking, and he loved his girl deeply at the the same time. Finally, he chose to stay with her. Drugs-taking costs a great deal of money. The worst matter is that Xiaosen himself took drugs, too, and was addicted to it. How could his meager salary afford that? For his dear girl friend, himself and their love. He began to steal and rob.
He was arrested very soon after he robbed a man of whom Xiaosen thought was rich. He was correct, the man is a government official, the handbag xiaosen robbed from the man itself is worth at least 20,000 yuan, a pen in it is 3,000 yuan or so, and a shaver is more than 1,000 yuan, but in fact, Xiaosen did not get too much cash that time. Not long after the man reported the case, Xiaosen lost his freedom.
Love is love, we should treasure it, but perhaps love needs rationality as well.

- On the other side, Xiaosen is fortunate because he was caught before things went worser, he might be sentenced to one or two years's imprisonment for robbing the goverment worker. Suppose he killed someone for the sake of the drug-taker girlfriend, then his life will de sacrificed in a moment. This encouter or experience should get them back on track.
