What Is English for Me?

I once talked with my net-friends about why we studied English in my blog. They have vaious motives, and I have my own one. My motive is very simple. I learn English just for fun. English is a game for me, nevertheless English opens a window for me to know the world better.

I began to learn English while I was still in my elementary school. I merely took English as a common subuject I had to learn then. I did not have to much interest in it and it did not award me much, either. This situation continued for years till I went to college. In order to be able to pass CET4 &6, I read and listened to English all day long. It was at that time I came to know English was actually useful. At least, to sme degree, it can offer me a better job . And I set out to learn English carefully. Gradually, I understand that English is just a laguage as our Chinese. Meanwhile, it can help us learn about the world we are living more well.That's why I can keep studying English through these years, though It has nothing with my work and I just take it as a game. When I am free and not so tired I play my game. It has really given me much pleasure.
