The Crow and the Magpie
There was a crow and a magpie. Their nests were not far from each other. The difference was that the crow's nest lay a little far from the village and the magpie's nest was in the tree in the middle of the village. All that is not because the crow hated to live near human beings. On the contrary, he was fond of living among men's inhabited area.----Food is easy to get! The fact was that man even hates to have a glance of the crow, not to mention to have him roost over the tree near their house.The crow felt annoyed. How could all these happened? He wonders.
One day, the two came across on the same tree.
"Hi, buddy, nice to see you!" The crow started their conversition.
"Hi! How are you doing these days?"
"Terrible!"
"Oh, what's the matter?"
"To tell you the truth, I've got a question for a long time in my heart. I'd like to ask you about that, however I am afraid it may offend you."
"Not at all. Tell me it directly."
"OK. Well, Do you know why people dislike me and like you much on the other hand? I do not think there are too many differences between us. We both are birds, right? If you must find something differnt from us two. It's that you have some white feather on your body, while all my feathers are black. "
"Oh, my dear. Don't you think that white feather makes me more good-looking?"
"Exactly.Does it matter?"
"Surely. It matters. Have a look at human beings, Why do they cost so much on beautiful clothes and beautifying their face?"
"......"The crowd perched in the branch of the tree in silence.
"Bye!" The magpie flew away.
Who dare say appearance is not important in the world?
