What a heavy rain

This rain last for more than 3 hours. Due to the heavy rain along with the flashing lightning, thought about the safety, i closed my computer. Now i have time and want to write something about this rain.
At the begainning, the sky is grey, the air is dry and sweltering, so quiet the world, suddenly, the rain comes. From far to near, from light to heavy. The air mixed with the smell of soil drifting in my house. The rain is dropping heavier and heavier, from here to there, cleaning all the houses, trees, streets and everything is lost in the rain. Me, myself, got lost in the sound of the rain too. Then i cannot help myself thinking of something else. What an amazing world. The rhythm of the falling rain is so amazing. Everything is controlled by the rain and nothing can stop it. I enjoy listening to this sound, it is the sound of the nature.
It rains heavier and heavier, following the lightning and thunder. I myself alone in my hourse, think of my grandmother. She is more than 80 years old now. When i was a child, i always kept screaming during a thunderstorm day,then my grandmother told me that, do not be afraid, the thor must be angry with sb, so he made such big noise to scare and warn these bad people. If you hadn't done something wrong and bad, there was no need to be afraid. Once i hear the thunder, i remember her words and say to myself, it's ok, i'm a good people, the thor is not angry with me. When i think like this, i'm not afraid at all and i can keep doing what i want.
Sometimes i just keep watching the rain and listening it, thinking something, expecting something and wish for something. I wonder only if people are stopped from doing something at hand, can they have much time to think more, talk more and be peaceful in the noisy and busy world.
