My friend, let me tell you something, i'm a free man, i don't believe in any religion, nor i don't believe in any God. When i speak out of the above words, these black guys always are crazy to try their best to persuade me to believe in God, but after faild to brainwash me, they end up with questions like: you Chinese people are so strange, why don't you believe in God. Then they turned to ask me, so what do you believe in? At the begaining, i said, i believe in myself, i'm the God of myself. Then he asked another chinese people, do you believe in God? "No, i believe in Budda", then another one answered" i believe in myself" At last, i said to them, well, i believe in good, not God, if you ask ten chinese people, there may be ten different answers such as believe in myself, believe in truth, believe in science, believe in love and so on. Then they made a conclution: Chinese people don't have beliefs.
But i tell you, this is not right, this is wrong. Chinese people have beliefs. We don't believe in God, it doesn't mean we don't have beliefs. What is belief, as i see it, it is something good that we believe, it can support us when we are in troubles and despairs, it can give us strength and power to meet the difficulties and conquer dilemmas, it is a faith that we believe that everything will be all right and better. It is a wish that we hope our beautiful future and dreams will come true. When you hold on this belief from your heart from the beginning to the end, and carry it into practice, surely someday you will realize what you believe and hope for. It is truth, it is the power of spirit.
And African people's believing in God really shocked me. Some people believe that God do exist in the world, it is God made us humen being, God give everything to us, God let us talk and see, give us wisdom. This view is the key point that i cannot accept because it againsts what i had learnt at school, that was the theory of evolution. We humen being evolve from ape. Another african guys believe that we cannot see God unless we die and go to the heaven. God can help us do the things we want to do and forgive our mistakes. God exist everywhere, and God live in your heart and my heart.
I don't want to say more about God and Jesus Christ here, because it is really a long long story. Now i'm busy reading Bible, it is a great book, sometimes i treat it a history book, sometimes i think it is a novel full of stories, sometimes it likes a law book telling people what rules peopel should abide and avoid.
So much for it, don't worry about me, my kind friends, i'm a simple person, i know what is real and what is false, what is good and what is bad, what is beautiful and what is ugly, what is right and what is wrong, i'm enjoying my life being free here. Hope all the people a real happy life.
