Something about reading

When i was at my high school, one of my Chinese teachers said to us, Japanese like reading books, even they wait for bus and metro, you can see they are reading there, they are progressive, you should learn from them. Young people are the hope of our future. If they are strong, their country will be strong.
Some people say, i want to read something, some famous novels and books, they are already on my list, but i have no time. Lu Xun once said, time is like the water in the sponge, as long as you squeeze it, you can always get some. If you really want to read, you do can find time to do it.
Don't be a bookcase. Reading without thinking like eating without digesting. A good book is worthy of reading over and over. Don't just put it aside after you finished reading it. When you get something new from reviewing the old knowledge, you are making progress.
Sure, reading will take up your time. Some books need your intensive reading, some books need your overview reading. We maybe feel tired after reading for a while, both our brains and eyes need a rest, so it's better for us to do other things and relax ourselves.
In fact, habits and interests can be cultivated and trained. Not only our body needs food, but also our brain needs food too. Good habits can be developed, so that we always feel full and not lonely. To read a good book, is equal to communicate with gracious people. We do need this nourishment for our minds.
