Last Sunday, i went to join the gathering and was invited to a new friend's home. I really had a wonderful time there. You may never imagine that i could have a female friend aged over 50 years old, she was just one year younger than my mother, that's warm, you know, all the femals can make friends if we have common interests and share our ideas together.

  In fact, i was the last one to be invited, but i thought i was lucky, cause i was the first one to visit her home together with her(i'm the lucky bird, the last came the first), other famale friends would came at 7 at night. So in the afternoon, dorcy prepared a wonderful Chinese movie named <<the joy luck club >>just for me to spend my afternoon, while she cooked delicious cous cous and Mex-Tex in the kitchen. That was an old movie, but i loved it. It talked about the history and culture of China, the relationship between daughters and their mothers, it was also telling the stories of four Chinese women, their different encouters and results and life experiences, so touching that i was moved to tears and felt i had already spent my whole life.

  Then other three girls came, and time for the movie show. We were planed to watch our lady's movie "Pride and prejudice" , i had seen it once, but this one was another version, it would take 5 hours, they were really enjoying their movie life in my eyes! Out of courtesy, Dorcy asked us if we had some suggestions for some good movies. She showed some wonderful really good movies on the table,  i noticed You've got mail, Help, One day, We Bought a Zoo,Black Mask and so on, and suddenly a familar person's figure came into my eyes, that was suger man.

  Sreaching for suger man, i yelled out. I was so excited to talk something about this wonderful Oscar documentary, Dorcy said it's boring but a wonderful one.

  Poor suger man, his songs enjoyed great popularity in South Africa, while the singer sugan man himself was forgotten in America. And he should have been successful and famous like the Rolling Stones, but it seems fate took a joke to him. Many years later, he become a blue-collar worker and got married and had a family and lived with his daughter in America, like other ordinary people. No flowers for him, no cups, no joy bring from success, no money, no fame, no applause and audience around......令人唏嘘不已
