After work, I went to the supermarket to buy vegetables as a housewife. I met a guy bargaining with vegetable peddlers outside of the supermarket. He seemed to enjoy the process of bargaining very much and was very high.
After I bought vegetables I need, I went out of the supermarket, only to find the guy was still bargaining, bargaining…without stop. I spent twenty Yuan on vegetables and I was afraid the guy wouldn’t spend more judging from his bargaining vigor. Why should he spend time on bargaining for several Yuan, or even less than one Yuan? Even though he used an hour to save five Yuan, so what? I really couldn’t understand that. After all, peddlers had to live, there was really not necessary to bargain with them so hard.
When I left, he was still bargaining and seemed not to leave within an hour. Everything was money, time wasn’t money. I just thought time was the most precious thing, but the guy apparently didn’t think so. Alas, everyone has his own life, as long as it doesn’t hurt other people, which will be OK, however, I still think it’s a pity to waste time on trifle like that.
