I remembered clearly the first mobile phone of mine was Nokia 3120. It was bought in 2006 at the price of 1150 before my graduation and it didn’t have much functions like mobile phone now. I couldn’t even read e-books with it. I was never willing to use mobile phone, however, during work, I had no choice.
I was a little excited, after all, it was my first mobile phone. I even played several idiot games in it and also heard the particular tones of Nokia again and again. It was stole by some people together with my wallet.
When I came to Shenzhen, I bought a Motorola mobile phone C118 at the price of 240 Yuan. It was even monochromatic and I just used it to call, not even sent SMS. When I came home to have Spring Festival, my mother liked to have it, so I just gave it to my mother.
After coming back to Shenzhen, I bought a Konka 6510 at the price of 800 Yuan. It had six speakers and its voice was really aloud. The screen was big, though the resolution of which was really poor. For the first time, I had a mobile phone with video camera. The first day after I bought it, I took a lot of photos. I liked its battery with twice the size of normal battery and I could even use it for a week without charging.
When I came home to handle my passport this year, my father liked its big voice and characters and confiscated mine. Then I bought the most expensive mobile phone in the history of my mobile phones blackberry 9530 at the price of 2100. Unfortunately, when I had a video conversation with my girlfriend, she saw my 9530 from webcam and exchanged my mobile phone with her copycat blackberry.
Now I’m using copycat blackberry without even knowing the manufacturer. It costs her 200 Yuan reputedly. After we broke up, she asked me whether I needed her to return my gifts. - The first mobile phone I had was a plain Siemens brand which was only a basic phone and the battery lasted 12 hours only for each charge. It was so expensive at that time. The only thing that dropped in price was mobile phones. My present phone has tons of features but cost much less.
