My first real music idol is Wong Ka Kui. His voice is the most powerful voice I’ve ever heart. I’ve listened to all his songs. Every time I felt tired physically or mentally, I would listen to Wong Kakui’s songs. He is really a music talent. The Land, Loving You, Secret Police, Truly Love You, Social Party, The Glorious Days, Under a Vast Sky, Arabian Dancing Girl, Yesterday’s Footprints and The Ultimate Emptiness are my favorite songs of Beyond. It’s really a shame I don’t listen to songs much now, not even songs of Beyond. One of my high school classmates MH is the really fan of Beyond. He only listens to Beyond until today. Comparing with him, I’m only a fake Beyond fan. Wong’s vital capacity is amazingly large reputedly. I think maybe that’s the reason of his contagious and powerful voice. Wong Ka Kui, a musical superstar forever!

    The next one is Andy Lau. Andy Lau has the biggest group of fans in my village. They just like his songs without reason. The view I’ve heart most is his mannish voice. They say the voice of Andy Lau is the most masculine among singers. 

  I like Andy Lau, then I like his song. I like Wong’s song, then I like him. The Days We Spent Together, If You Are My Legend, The Tide, Forget Love Potion, True Forever, Chinese People, Love You Forever, You Are My Woman, Secret Admiration are my favorite songs from Andy Lau.

    The third is Wu Bai. Originally I didn’t like his songs, but one of my classmates kept playing his songs in dorm, so I gradually liked him. He was a singer as the same as wine. Last more, Love more.

  Loving others is a happy thing, Wanderer’s love song, The end of love, Dream River, Tear Bridge, Suddenly myself, With you forever, Norwegian Forest, White pigeon, The one I love most all my life, Again me, The rose are my favorite songs from Wu Bai. One of my friends once told me Wu Bai sang as the same as a migrant worker, not so elegant as Wakin Chau, after that, I even felt a little embarrassed to listen to Wu’s songs. I was easily influenced by other people’s remarks then, but thought it was a fault later, then changed it. This is Wu Bei’s individual charisma. Farmer can be good singer too, I like Ma Guangfu very much. I didn’t pay any attention to Chinese folk songs before because I didn’t like the so-called bel canto of folk song. But after Ma Guangfu sang it with natural voice, I find Chinese folks songs are fabulous too. I like Usuri River, Western Singing very much.

     Listening to Xu Wei’s songs is at college. At first I thought it was horrible, those couldn’t even be called songs. However, when you’re alone and become still in your heart, you’ll find yourself combing with Xu Wei’s songs into one. His songs are really good for lonely guys struggling in metropolis. Old home, Perfect life, Blue lotus flower, Gift, Starry sky, Roam, Pureness, Trip, Free as wind are my favorite songs. But I just feel all his songs are of the same tone, especially after you’ve listened to a lot of them..
