Three years ago, Mei was my colleague, now she was my friend now. She was thirty year old and single. She was waiting for the emergence of Mr. Right, or else she would rather be single all her life.

Mei could write articles with great talent. I remembered the day clearly. When I was bored and entered into her QQ zone by accident, all her articles attracted me deeply. Really a great master, the words was like a clear spring flowing in my heart. Though most of her articles were about her personal feeling, I was always not interested in that kind of article, I was convinced by the elegance of her words. For the first time of my life, I spent the whole night reading articles.

She liked to read Dream of the Read Chamber and was always with tears all over her face while reading. When Mei was available, she liked to compose songs and sang them by herself while playing guitar. She was really larruping and didn’t like to share her writings and songs with other people. Always kept a small world in her heart, others couldn’t come in, she herself couldn’t go out. Time goes by so quickly, Mei just spent this kind of life year by year.

Because she quitted a year ago, I rarely saw her from then on. This year, after Spring Festival, I brought food from home and came to her residency, because she spent Spring Festival outside with her little sister. When I came to her residence, it was morning, she was still asleep and her little sister Su cooked breakfast for me. Until lunch time, she got up and had lunch with an unkempt appearance. When we finished the lunch, her little sister cleaned the dining table, Mei said she was so tired and lay in bed again.

Since she lived in Longgang, it took me several hours by bus. Her little sister asked me to stay for a night, bought me toothbrush and towel and got hot water ready for me to have a bath. Mei just sat at the computer and played cards.

Mei must be painful and abandoned herself to despair. I wasn’t glib originally, the next morning, I only sighed and left. I never contacted her again until last month. Mei said her mother was in debt for the sake of her little brother’s schooling. The creditor forced her family to repay, so Mei asked me to lent her twenty thousand Yuan. I was hesitant, however, I still lent it to her, because my father was building new house and needed the money, I had to lie to my father.

 I never went to her residence again and I felt people could change with time

passing by.
