I went home directly after work. I needed to have a little rest, private ownership was always the best drive of people, if the company were mine, I would always try my best to run it. The pressure was really huge, I had to make the software for the order, the amount of which was 400,000. If I made even a tiny mistake, the result would be very horrible. I felt my state wasn’t very good, I’d better stop work this night, or else I would make mistake easily. Making software for mass production was really a dangerous thing, which made me on thin ice. There were guys before fired for making mistake on software of mass production.
While I was writing, the Harbin guy apologized for his arrogant behavior. I wasn’t trying to make life hard for him, because my director asked me to teach and test them. If I didn’t make any progress on working speed with two assistants, my director would think of me incapable. A company had to make profit, how? By everybody’s work. No matter how capable you were, if you didn’t do anything for the company, you only spent time on studying, how could a company allowed this kind of guy. You went to school and had to pay tuition, there was no reason a company paying salary for you to study without doing thing useful to it. Even though the company wasn’t mine, I couldn’t allow this kind of thing to happen. Even though the gangsterdom, they knew the reason of taking one’s money to eliminate one’s disaster. I knew testing software was boring, but once in society, there wasn’t much choice. Maybe he hated me, but I didn’t care, correcting his working attitude was actually good to him, because there wasn’t one company which was willing to pay money for you to study without doing things. Life was fair and unfair at the same time. If he had the ability to beat me on software, of course the director would use him to replace me. Now that he didn’t achieve that level, he had to be my assistant at first. I always tried to be Mr. Nice Guy, but found it was impossible in real life.
I could understand maybe the difference between society and school was too big for him. Because at school, your teacher would never abuse you and threaten to fire you. I liked the other guy, he would try his best to do everything I told him and even thought of better ways to solve them, though he came from the so-called second-ranked university, so what? The boss cared about only one thing---whether you could earn money for him or not. No need to talk about it, only need to see his attitude in future.
I would continue my tour of computer. My computer was really an old guy because I bought it in 2005. For the first time, I found I had nothing to tour in my computer. In disk D, I found only twenty-four histories. In disk E, I found nothing. In disk F, I found old photos and some articles I wrote before.
So, the tour was over.
