Recently I have several assistants, so I have to think about how to manage them well. Two of them come from Harbin Institute of Technology and really don’t deserve the fame. Another of them is Tang, who is a diligent guy to do things well regardless of whether they’re trifles or not.

Two Harbin guys are really idle in the company, but my director likes them without reason. He himself doesn’t know how to arrange them and put them below me. I’m really tired of this kind of task. They think they are too great for trifles and only willing to do things they like every day. Of course, everybody likes this kind of thing, someone pay you for your study. I’m always a Mr. Nice Guy and need to be a little tough now. A company employs people to do things for it. If you can, then it will employ you, or else you can go other places. I’m not the boss, but I think that should be the right way.

From now on, I decide to distribute things to them. If they can’t, I will give a hand. If they’re really not capable to do technology work, I’ll make the fact known to my director and let them alone. If my director is willing to pay them for their university band, I don’t care and it’s also none of my business. I only need to do my work and cooperate with Tang well for the company.

Using people with ability regardless of where he comes from is the true way, of course, with virtue will be better.
