When Lenin was eight years old, one day, he went to his aunt’s home with father.

All cousins were very happy to meet Lenin and played together with him. They played hide-and-seek in the room. Lenin hit the table by accident and a vase on the table fell.

The children played really merrily and none of them paid any attention and still chased each other. Aunt heard the noise and came to see, the vase was broken, asking, “who broke it?” All cousins said, “not me!” Lenin said in a low voice, “not me.” Aunt laughed, “then the vase must broke itself.” All cousins laughed except Lenin.

When Lenin came home and lay in bed with silence. Mother asked him why he was unhappy. Lenin told his mother about the broken vase. Mother told him to write a letter to his aunt to admit he lied.

Several days later, a mail carrier delivered the reply letter. Aunt said in the letter, “you acknowledged the corn after you did wrong, really an honest child.”
