Autumn is always my most favorite season. The sky is clear and blue like a sapphire. Yellow leaves fall from trees. Golden field makes my heart full of hope and happiness.

Since I have to work in Shenzhen, a city of South Kingdom, I have no chance to enjoy the autumn of my hometown. It became cool several days before, now it’s becoming hot again.

Going outside for a walk in the night is really not a bad choice. The boss of restaurant downstairs is a sharp businessman. He even knows to use a projector to play movie to entertain his customers and it turns out to be a really nice move. Those laborers worked hard during the day and had no spiritual life at night. So restaurant and shop with TV are the best place for them to enjoy life at night.

They watched it heart and soul, sometimes, even with bravo. I cannot help thinking that happiness is really simple. No matter what you do, no matter what you have, enjoying your life is in fact the most important. There is really no need to sacrifice your life for something you can’t bring after your death.

Small children chased with each other happily too. They needed nothing to make themselves happy. The most miserable guy is regular employee like me. They went to home slowly with worried look and humpback. Of course they earned more than laborers and had higher taste than them too. Laborers had lower desire and could satisfy themselves easily. White-collar employee had desire such as house and car, those things were hard to get for regular employee. So day after day, year after year, they wasted their lives on those two things and totally ignored the pleasure of life now. Life is only a process, when you get those two things finally, you’ll find life is not enough for you to enjoy the pleasure of getting them.

Some laborer boys lay on stone bench by the roadside. These days, they didn’t enjoy the leisure of their father generation because of the marriage thing. They had to find wife so that they could have family. Laborer girls liked to seek college guy as boyfriend, at least, college guys earned more and could make themselves happy easily. The number of college boys is bigger than college girls, which meant some of them had to find non-college girls as girlfriend, what’s more, college girls, especially those with good looks and ability, liked to seek rich guys as boyfriend. In a word, the water is always flowing from higher place to lower place, but the people are opposite.

Mahjong is a regular entertainment, every night I went to my room, I could see a lot of men and women playing Mahjong happily. I didn’t know it was good or not, maybe Mahjong to them was just like book to me, though they were different things, the function of both of which is for pleasure.

The public security of Shenzhen is really nice. I’ve been worked in Shenzhen peacefully for four years. You can see guard everywhere. I used to like to be a safety guard so that I could have plenty of time to read books I liked. It’s a pity I didn’t realize my dream, but I didn’t have regret either, for I could earn more by my current job.
