Always An Excuse

Recently, we had an urgent problem to resolve and asked our chipset vendor T for help. There was an engineer SL in T. SL wasn’t capable enough to resolve the problem, but he wasn’t willing to admit it. He kept telling us to do this, to do that to cooperate with him. After half a month, we didn’t make any progress. Every time we asked how to resolve it, he would give us a new excuse. Of course none of the excuses was about himself. I knew he wanted to save his job, but truth will come to light sooner or later, how could he use paper to wrap fire? I guess we can’t put our eggs in his basket now and need to find another capable one to resolve the issue.

I think sometimes we really should seek excuses from ourselves. If we fail to do something, there is always only one excuse, we’re not capable enough, nothing else.
