The Story of C

C came from a poor family and graduated from college with the help of all relatives. Before college, he never went to a city. During the days in college, he did part-time job and studied diligently at the same time. He had no computer, mobile phone, MP3 etc, in a word, no common pleasure of undergraduate, anyhow, graduated without much pleasant memory.

For his first job, he earned little, only a little higher than common worker. Though he was with background of technology, he hadn’t much talent to be an engineer. One is lucky enough to find his strongest point and carry it forward, his life will be regretless. C felt himself had no strong point, though struggled hard on technology, hadn’t made much progress, which made him very depressed.

Though the city N was really big and beautiful, there was no place for C. Year after year, he only earned enough to support himself. He wanted a quiet and peaceful life and rarely argued with colleague for profit. Though he worked hard, the boss didn’t increase his salary for he knew C wouldn’t argue with him.

Sometimes, the lake seems still, but actually there is undercurrent. C was resentful in his inner heart. As time passed by, he earned nothing but aging…

 Business Mode

I had a meeting this morning and my boss talked about business mode. I always thought of the importance of owning a skill and should combine skill and business mode together. Before you try to learn a skill, you have to think what you will give to other people after you own it.

In ancient China, people despised businessman and appreciated the poorness and virtue of literati. Everybody wants to own something, few people thinks to own a skill to earn it and fewer people thinks of what kind of service he will give with the skill.

I don’t know other people’s business. Just take network technology for example. I learn to do software for DSL so that people can get Internet access conveniently…
