When Atman travels on his road, he stops without any reason. He doesn’t know what he will do. Turning around to see past road, he sees nothing except mist, the only thing he can keep is his own memory. Turning around again, he sees road ahead of him, a little different, because there’re so many roads ahead, as for past road, there is only one though misty. He wants to mark time, but time waits for no man. Obviously, Atman is becoming older and older. Desperately, he chooses one road and decided to use his remaining life to find the end of it to make himself die without any regrets. Atman tells himself to forget the thought of going back and choosing another road because it’s impossible, he has to go ahead regardless of rain and sunshine. Using the limited life to see the road he chooses as much as possible, which is the way Atman chooses to spend his life with until one day collapses on his road. When he is dying on his road, he suddenly understands there is no end for every road, only end for every life. He, along with all other people, is only a traveler, after all.

Reply Soar 2012-11-1 22:47: Many travelers do not know why they are on the way, they just follow others' steps. They always think the scenery ahead is more beautiful. Sometimes they have to run quickly instead of walking in order to catch up with others' steps. Some day when they find they can't walk ahead any longer, they suddenly realize life is like a journey, we don't need to care about the destination , what we only need care about is the scenery along the roads , the people who accompany us, the mood when we enjoy the landscape even though we are on the detour way. So let's be happy travelers. When we are dying, never regret we used to be travelers.
