Pride and prejudice

The most useful book in my life is Pride and Prejudice, written by Jane Austen. It is the first book that spurred my interests in reading english literatures, although boys may mind it only a love story and do not like it at all. The first sentence in the book "It is a truth universally acknowledged ,that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife" caught me and it won't stop. This is the function of this book when I was yong. And now, I see much deeper, the passion for love can cast pride and prejudice but marriage dose not mean the uncontrolled passion but a complex engagement between the marrying couple and society.
From the four kinds of marriage, the most realistic marriage , the most ridiculous marriage , the most happy marriage and the most admirable marriage in the book , you can find many kinds of human characters. By holding this book , I can easily enjoy the beautiful scene of the english countryside and experience the english culture , this is how I get peace now in this busy life.
