Friendship mistaken

My little sister has really upset for the last few days. Bad temper, few words, no interets in anything at all...very obviouse symptom of losing a relationship...I just hope it's not about a boy. Because when it comes to a boy, it's always complicated...
In order not to make her felt being poked, I had to tell her my own stories back in school...just for chatting. Never seen a way of selling yourself like this, right?
Her eyes was wildly opened by the end of the story and ask me directly what if the person had been bothered her was a girl...A girl?!!! 
...You could image how shocked I was! And how much I wished it was a boy! Because to a boy, it seemed much more easier now...I have to state that I'm not an anti-homo, but for a little girl like her...How could she understand the different of love among genders; how could she bear all the difficult in such an intolerant society; how could she achieve her dreams with such a controversial tag? I mean her life just started...
When I was lost in the clouds, she suddenly mumbled: "She was my best friend...but broke with me days ago...because she heard that the boy she liked had a thing for me... "
Not a hundred billion could make me feel so cheerful and so released...It's not that I oppose certain kinda relationship, just not so bitter for the innocences...God knows it would hurt too much to bear...
