It is better to put string weight below test cup for testing BOPs, due to different area between ‘cup’ and BOP seal area which may push test cup assembly out of hole. 

When we have to run test plug/ cup before running scraper BHA, use scraper BHA as weight below test plug/ cup; it will save time even the test fail, we can run RTTS above scraper BHA to repair BOP.

Use next operations as guide of what should we do right now.

If we will do open hole log:

1.      Condition fluid weight for stable hole loss. However we can not weight up too high if there is sand fill around perforation intervals;

2.      Circulate hole clean for easy running of wireline tools;

3.      Wireline tools running condition can tell if we can run sump packer by wireline.
