The situations about college students at nowaday society

After spending nearly one year at my college ,I did saw and felt little true around me . No matter right or wrong they are ,I just wanna to talking and changing my opinions with my dear friends who read this^_^.
Well ,as it turns out ,I don't know everything ,and I'm ready to spend some time on learning .I would't wanna to pick up where I left off .You see ,it is't just the education that appeals to me but I do want to grasp something.And college life looks extraordinarily pleasant ,as a big and free stage . To the cord what I want to talking about ,what on earth the situations about college students are ?
The young people on campus are all gung ho to get out and get a life .We don't seen to understand we're having one of its best parts.Here seems that we are with no responsibility to anyone but ourselves ,a hundred or thousand ready-made friends ,teaches to help us ,families at home waiting for us to return for holidays to tell all about our triumphs ,three meals a day ,I can't have everything .
Too many students don't really have much patience with the process of being educated .They think half the teachers are idiots ,and I wouldn't deny this .They think the system stinks sometimes .I wouldn't deny that .They think there aren't any nice girls /boys around .I'd deny that .they just won't know what a nice time of life college can be unlit it's over . Students are anxious to acquire the knowledge they think they need to make a buck ,but they aren't really interested in education for education's sake . That's where we're wrong ,and that's why I'd like to grasp sth. I gradually know now what a joy knowledge can be ,independent of anything you do with it .
What about the courses ?When it comes to calculus ,I think it must be an ache to us every student. I have absolutely no ability in that direction and not much interest ,either .But our report cards will be flied to our father and mother ,so I have to worry about marks >_<.Therefore ,60 grades is the king in college campus ,one more mark is a waste ! It's really a Freak !Maybe I'll do better than when I'm interested in it . Many people who had graduated from college have told me that ,college life do is a nice period in one's life .And I do believe it ,but why so many students still have no that awareness .Maybe it likes the matter said in 《围城》: people inside were eager to running out while others were crash into .
Of course ,I know many positive and wonderful students around ^_^.For example ,my monitor ,a girl ,got many prizes in many competitions .All the situations I mention about can't stand anything ,no complaints ,no criticism ,just a casually writing .Because I can't promise how wonderful I was ,I just want to grasp sth. in my road and go ahead …… ^_^

- I have seen a lot of students not serious about studying. Here is an example. It's 10 in the morning. College student Xie should be in class. But he hasn't been to class all semester. He's been too busy pretending to be a basketball star. Xie stares into his laptop, hair in his face, playing an NBA video game. His roommates squeeze by him, heading to the campus courts to play the real thing. They're skipping class, too. The six live in this musty room, the size of walk-in closet, at University of Science and Technology.
Xie said; I usually spend five hours a day playing video games. There's nothing else to do here. Everyone in my dorm is like this. We spend four years at university wasting time and after we graduate, we'll be facing unemployment.
Xie and his friends are what he calls "typical college students" in China. Chinese colleges typically have low expectations. Once students choose their major, they can't change it. Xie, for example, majored in information management because, he says, "It sounded interesting." Later he found this is not the suitable major for him.
Of course, China's a big place -- not all college grads are slouching video-game addicts. But for those who aren't, China's job market isn't inspiring: A quarter of last year's six million college grads have yet to find jobs.

i do find some changes between nowaday college students and the past old generations. cerainly no so-called right and wrong at all. different times has different traces indeed. but as my view, some aspects should be highly considered and judge with yourself's brain. such as the loose learning, the absance on courses, the over-love relationship beween boys and girls, the ignoring to knowlledge, the pursuiing of money, and so on.... i believe you must have your own view and stick your own ideas.
