Make an unhappy telephone call to U.S. (#‵′ )

Last night I have just a call to my exchange university in U.S.A to know sth about the email address, since I have a lot of trouble in the activation of my Internet Username and email.
It's about 11:00 at night, I just opened my Skype and dialed the telephone number, but the following thing made my down. It seems that Skype can't be used to make an overseas call within our local area network~~~ what a joke!!!
Without other choices, I came down to the shop to buy a 201 card (since to make a direct call through ordinary landline is so consuming). It's about 12:00 now~~~ I picked up the phone and dial the number again, a middle American aged man answered the phone (maybe our webmaster?). And bla bla bla~~~ I told me about my problem and he replied me with the password, what a long paasword, nearly 20 words with numbers, letters, marks~~~ At that time, I really wondered how US people pay attention to their privacy and security with such kind of password, unrememberable, without any principal. o(╯□╰)o
Tragedy came again, when I just write down this word and wanted to repeated it to the master, the call was ended without tips! This 201 card had been used up, how expensive the call is~~~ no more than 6 mins, and cost more than 20 RMB, the expenses standard of the international call wasn't international at all, to call back from U.S. is quite cheaper than to make a call to U.S. from China.
What an unlucky day! Hope this situation can be improved in near future, I'm angry and can't see any reason for such a high charge.~~View AllAuthor's latest blogs

but when i think about the trans-provicial call expense, i feel a little relieved, as we all know, it is so expensive almost unacceptable. it is of course unreasonable, but we have no choice but to pay for it, let alone the international calls.
