I love hills

330 views. 2011-12-30 15:08 |

I love hills and mountains, but I live in plain.

I love rivers and lakes and even seas, but I live in dry land.

Inhabiting around or inside them, you couldn’t imagine this kind of mixed feeling of dreaming and admiring, excitement viewing them and disappointment without them.

When I was 14 years old, I first arrived in Beijing, where I  approached my coveted landscapes for the first time in my life.  We climbed the famous Fragrant Hill and then visited the charming Summer Palace, where the Kunming Lake took my breath away.Fortunately, I took a lot of pictures of myself, in which I climbed the trees like a monkey, hiding in the cave like a cat, smiling coquettishly as a belle among the flowers, posing as a poet on the Seventeen Arch Bridge, and viewing the Longevity Hill pensively on the boat. Wow! What a naive boy! What a beautiful Adonis! What a conscientious juvenile hero! And what a precious memory!

Four years later, I went to university and entered the colorful outside world. I traveled to more places and saw more famous mountains, lakes and rivers. However, I didn’t got so influenced and excited any more. So disappointed and dissatisfied that I turned to some anonymous and ordinary place to fulfill my dream. In 2005, I went to the Baiyang Lakes on my bike. The artificial scene depressed me over again. It was in October when the reeds turned yellow and became withered. The shallow water was yellow and black like a pool of billabong, which was terribly different from the exuberant Lotus Creek in my dream. In order to raise their revenues, the lake park’s staff strongly  launched the Thai shemale exhibition to attract coarse visitors. Oh, where is the friendly natives? Where is the original boats? Where is the native fish and weeds?

I left the monstrous landmark silently. Speeding my bycicle, I went to the Langya mountain. I lodged in one folk’s home on the mountainside. The pure and absolute darkness and quietness made the night really cool and mysterious. The saintly and clean moonlight shined upon my warm quilt. Greedily breathing the chilly and humid air, I soon fell into a deep and comfortable sleep. The next morning, I determinedly headed to the namelss hills nearby instead of the Langya mountains.

I chose the nearest hill as the first hill to climb. At that time, I thought of nothing but climbing to the peak. However, I feel a little scared at present. What if I lost in the unfamiliar hills? I just stepped forward. Strictly speaking, the hills didn't deserve scenic. There was no various kinds of trees but just weeds. Weeds. What a majestic carpet like the rolling waves! I was excited and began quickening my pace. Twenty minutes later, I got up the peak. A new world, or a new hill lay ahead of me. I breathed deeply and fled down this hill for another up hiking. Half an hour passed, I got to the second peak, The same appreance came into my eyes again, which attracted the red-blooded boy to approach. When I climed the fifth hill, I slipped and rolled downed the hill for fifty metres or so. I stood up with little difficulty and found a leak in my left knee of my jeans. I couldn't help laughing out. Fashionable and natural! I went on climbing and reached the peak after several minutes. Suddenly I had a strong desire to tell someone. I called my sister first but failed for the bad signal in the mountains. I called others one by one in my cell list and finally got answered when I dialed the number of Hao Zhang, my brother-in-law. He was surprised but I didn't explained and hung up after a simple greeting.

The strong wind on the peak lashed me wildly. I enjoyed the caress of God, as if I stood in the cloud like the angel, which seemed that I got wings in my back. That’s fantastic! I got down the hill and met some kids living at the hills. They were curious about my sunglasses. I played with them for a while and sent my glasses to them. Then I returned to the lodge and lay down on the bed, quietly and contendedly.

The next afternoon I returned to school. I had a big journey and felt tired very much. I streched on my bed until 12 o’clock the next day.

Oh, mountains! Oh, rivers and lakes! You are the only who can understand my feeling truly. I am the son of nature. I am eager for an approach into your arms again. Will you expect me at the same thoughts?
