Desperate housewives

Since last December, I have been keen on the US soap opera “Desperate Housewives”. To be honestly, I am seldom to see the foreign TV besides some splendid movies. Most of time I used to watch Ancient costume or Youth inspirational play on weekend. One of my friends often laughs at me that I am still an innocent girl in such a cruel society. So she recommends me a few TV plays to watch. “Desperate Housewives” is just one of them.

The topic has been suspended until someday I was boring and had nothing to do, I tried to watch the TV dramas “Desperate Housewives” on the internet.

The series start with the shocking suicide of Mary Alice Young. It leaves her four girlfriends in the neighbourhood trying to figure out the reason why the seemingly perfect wife in their eyes chooses to over her life suddenly. All the stories happen on Wisteria Lane in the fictional US town Fairview. In the beginning, you will find that all they have is so perfect and enviable that I dream that one day I also have the life like this. We can see the perfect houses lawns friendship and beautiful housewives shopping, having parties and gossiping around. It looks like all happens in a fairy tale.

But when you watched over one of the series, you will find even a “perfect family” you think so also has its own secret in the soap. All of them have their secrets as same as that happens in our daily life. Yeah life is not a fairy tale indeed.

Through the soap (though I only watch third of the series) , my favourite roles is Lynette. Lynette is a perfect and strong woman whatever at work or in life. Though she is doing better than her husband-Tom in the career, she also decides to quit her favourite work and become a housewife, taking her four children year by year. She is seldom to complain to her husband even if her naughty children make her exhausted. Even so , she still makes efforts to keep children innocent closely and with concern. As the old saying goes, gold can't be pure and man can't be perfect andshy. Of course, she has her shortcoming that she is too strong to Tom and also keep her opinion to him. She thinks herself is the queen in her family.

Hehe, I find have much to say about “Desperate housewives”. I have to end it up now. I hope i can understand what they said totally rather than getting them by Chinese words. Running….
