Lantern Festival

Today is the Lantern Festival ,Also the Monday today, and this is not the legal holiday,so i am now still work in the office..
This morning i was wake up by the big voice of the Crackers,also because it is not like in my hometown like the village ,the cracker voice is bigger than that in the parcel buildings .Since there has the replying voice for the four sides has the buildings in the parcel buildings.
In our village the voice is not that big which like a noise in the parcel buildings. Living in the city is really different from the village.
It seems I have write some things away from the Lantern Festival, let me come back.
Actually, i do not know exactly what the original come for the Lantern Festival, I just know it is the traditional Festival in our China ,and also from the time when i was very very young , I start to celebrate the festival with eating the sweet soup balls ,and also in that day we need to have an outing in Spring. Crackers in the morning when begins the breakfast.
The sweet soup ball is a kind of eating food, it seems like a ball when you first see it , but it has some tastes , insides of the ball there has some kinds of stuffing there like the Black sesame, the sweet , the fruit , also some other tastes.
Have an outing in Spring, is that we get up early in the morning before the sun rise ,and walk on the ground in the filed, and walk some minutes like ten or a quarter of the hour.Just that ,It is the custom of our hometown, in my village when i was young .
To set the crackers is the normal customs in many places in China I think , both in the city or the village , maybe it is a way to convey the peoples' happiness and the good luck about the festival or what , or maybe it is a way to keep the ghost away from themselves..
I just know theses customs about the Lantern Festival..

- girl, from your telling, our custom as same as your hometown. maybe some alike in northern china. and tonight as our local custom, people should go out for a walk to drop the so-called "100 illness", hehe..happy festival,girl.
